Marlboro Student to Attend National Forensics Competition

Marlboro High School Junior Doron Darnov will represent the school at the the 2012 National Forensic League National Tournament.

Dorn Darnov, junior, is going up against the top communicators in the country, as he faces thousands in the the 2012 National Forensic League National Tournament, speech and debate competition.

“The MHS Forensics Team competed in a highly competitive two-day National Forensics League District earlier in the school year where Doron qualified to compete on the national level.  This is really an incredible accomplishment, and our team also made history competing in two leagues this year,” said Marlboro High School Principal, Shaun Boylan.

3,200 students from around the globe will join Darnov, competing to win top prizes of $200,000 or more in college scholarships. Top colleges and universities observe the students during the competition, and may offer positions on college teams.
