Marlboro Welcomes New Business in 2011

Several new storefronts opened doors since Marlboro Patch began in August

It seems that every week, we receive a new announcement about a grand opening in Marlboro. was not immune to the downfall of the economy, and many storefronts in Marlboro are still empty. But Patch wants to celebrate all of the brave business owners who chose to open their doors and contribute to what everyone .

Marlboro also has plans to open a Wine Academy in the Diamond Plaza on Rt. 9 South in January, and a Whole Foods on Rt. 9 in the spring.

Here is a look at just some of the businesses that opened in Marlboro since August, when Marlboro Patch launched.

Fireside Grill and Bar

has quickly become a staple in Marlboro Township. Each set of candidates in the local election held fundraisers in the new restaurant, and the bar hasn't stopped filling up.

Patch . Since its opening, local patrons have packed the parking lot and enjoyed the bar's several televisions, signature drinks and large menu.

The School of Rock

If you are walking by in Morganville on any given day, you are hearing the sounds of teenagers rocking out as if they have been performing for 20 years.

The School of Rock is a performance-based approach to your child's musical talents, and teaches kids how to play their instruments while giving them the confidence to perform on stage.

Let's YO Yogurt

is part of a franchise, . The store has 16 self-serve flavors, which patrons can choose to fill their cup with.

But the frozen yogurt tastes and looks more like soft serve ice cream, although with far less calories. The franchise offers non-fat, no sugar, low fat and sorbets.

Let's YO! Yogurt is open for breakfast as well, with coffee, Tazo Tea and cereal options.

Keller Williams Realty

Keller Williams Realty opened a new office on Rt. 9 in Morganville yesterday, and will serve Western Monmouth County.

The office was opened in the Grosso Building, and will house more than 200 active real-estate agents.
