POLL: Should Marlboro Invest in New Classroom Technology?
The Board reviewed a proposal to place more technology in Marlboro classrooms.

Marlboro students may soon experience the joy of the iPad.
The recently reviewed proposals to up the amount of technology students have in the classroom, through digital learning software for math, science and reading.
According to the News Transcript, the board has built in new technology costs into the current proposed budget.

“The changes we will see in the next few years are beyond incredible,” Karen Kondek, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, said. “…This budget begins to prepare us for the future of instruction.”
According to the Transcript, the budget will account for iPads and Google Chromebooks on mobile device carts, at a proposed $719,150 as well as electronic books, math and science resources and digital assessments at a proposed estimate of $278,220.
