Ring in the New Year Close to Home

Looking for a night out on the town to ring in the New Year? Well start 2012 the local way.

in Marlboro will celebrate its first New Year's Eve in style, with a buffet and a midnight champagne toast. Guests can pre-order tickets for $45 or pay $50 at the door. There will be an open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and a DJ all night.

The will serve free kids meals on New Year's Eve, one meal for every adult dinner. On New Year's Day, the restaurant will host a 2012 brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which will include an omelette station.

The in Aberdeen will keep the party going from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. With a $25 advance tickets, guests will be treated to free hors'douevres and champagne and entertainement on the dance floor by Grammy nominated Linda Chorney.

has some great food deals. The Jester will be open from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00a.m. on New Years Eve and will giving free meals to kids with the purchase of an adult entree. Don’t forget, The Court Jester in Freehold will also be serving all 31 of their beers on tap all night long.

will be ringing in the New Year with a Countdown party.  The Joe Baracata Band will be performing at 10:00 p.m. and all guests will receive a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.    

Park Avenue Bistro will be hosting their own New Years Eve Party beginning at 10:00 p.m. and going until 2:00 a.m. For $75 guests will be served hors d'oeuvre and have a buffet and premium open bar.  Tickets for the party must be purchased in advance.  For more information call (732)761-1300.

Park East, Hazlet - As of Dec. 28, the venue only has $50 tickets left for the Bar Room party. (The restaurant and lounge seating is sold out.) The Bar Room party includes open bar from 9 p.m. to midnight, buffet-style food, balloon drop, deejay and dancing. Tickets are sold in-house only. (732) 739-2002.

Houlihan's, Holmdel - Open until 2 a.m., as always. No special party planned. The restaurant does not take reservations.
