Robertsville Students Win SPCA Jingle Contest

Robertsville Elementary third graders won a radio jingle contest.

Roberstville students increased pet adoption awareness by creating a recording a jingle for the Monmouth County SPCA, to be aired on 94.3FM's Lou and Liz Show.

The adopt-a-pet segment aired Nov. 17, and featured the profesionally recorded version of the jingle. As apart of winning the contest, students visited Small Factory Production to record their jingle and educate the masses about the importance of adopting pets.

Roberstville Elementary School teacher Ilene Brudner entered the Purr N'Pooch Foundation's contest, and helped her class write an original song with the help of music teacher Betty Mingoia.
