Sephora Beauty Store To Open Marlboro Location In 2021

MARLBORO, NJ - Makeup lovers, rejoice: Marlboro Plaza is prepared to welcome a glammed-up tenant as soon as this summer.

A brand-new Sephora beauty retailer is expected to take over a storefront at the junction of Route 9 and CR 520, according to an update posted by the shopping center's developer Basser-Kaufman. The new brick-and-mortar shop is part of the company’s 60-store expansion, Sephora’s biggest ever in its 21-year history, amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The new standalone Sephora locations began to open in April with stores planned for major metropolitan areas like Dallas, Austin, Houston, Los Angeles and Nashville. The stores will feature a “sleek architectural and visual design” that focuses on the classic Sephora aesthetic while adding new lighting enhancements for a better beauty experience.

A string of 200 Sephora stores inside Kohl’s department stores are also slated to pop up, with locations including Clifton, Hamilton Township, Hillsborough and Howell. Read more: Sephora Location Inside Howell Kohl's To Open In 2021

At least 850 2,500-square-foot Sephora at Kohl’s storefronts are expected by 2023.

If you can't wait until later this year to get your shop on, nearby brick-and-mortar Sephora locations include Freehold Raceway Mall, Menlo Park Mall, Bridgewater Commons and The Grove at Shrewsbury.
