Sept. 11 Memorial Ceremonies Planned In Monmouth County

Memorial ceremonies are planned this week in Monmouth County to remember those who died on Sept. 11.

Middletown, Manalapan and Marlboro are among the communities where memorial events are planned.

Monmouth County will also hold a public remembrance ceremony at 8 a.m. Friday at Monmouth County’s 9/11 Memorial at the Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook in Atlantic Highlands.

A Walk With Joe, which honors three Manalapan residents who died, will also be held at Battlefield State Park.
