What's With the Construction on Rt. 79 and Lloyd Rd. in Marlboro?

Construction is in the initial stages of clearing trees to make room for commercial property

Many of our readers have asked the question: What's with the construction on Rt. 79 and Lloyd Rd.?

Dean Staknys, Marlboro's Assistant Township Engineer, said the area is approved to be a commercial site that will house a CVS, a bank and a retail store that is yet to be determined.

Staknys said the construction should take about 6 months, and right now they are in the beginning stages of clearing trees.

The bank building is listed on Loopnet, a commercial real estate website, along with plans for the entire site.

Marlboro currently has a on Rt. 9 in Morganville and a CVS on Ryan Road and Rt. 79 in Marlboro.
