And now, Monmouth County residents can in Morganville, where a new self-serve store has opened on Rt. 9.

At its ribbon cutting ceremony, the store offered flavors like rice pudding, Honey Nut Cheerios, pumpkin pie and dutch chocolate. And yes, the Cheerios flavor actually uses the cereal to make the delicious treat.

The idea for a new and improved version of ice-cream begain in New York, and ended with a treat that tastes like soft serve, with none of the guilt.

The Morganville location also offers crepes, made fresh in the store. And it is offering self-serve dessert, as the trend progresses throughout the country.
