Toms River Chamber Of Commerce Upgrades To New Space For Better Efficiency
The organization's commitment to their members and community sparks a great change in location and structure.

As part of its continuing efforts to cut its costs and improve its efficiency, the Toms River Chamber of Commerce has moved into a new home.
“We have been taking close stock of where we can be more efficient,” Executive Director Noelle Lotano said. That included changing its telephone servicing company, its insurance company and other needs.
“We recently changed our phone service over to one of our members, AACOM, because they offered more features at a lower expense,” she said. “ Similarly within the last few months, we transferred our insurance needs to Marchitello Farmer’s Agency, another one of our members. Jeff was able to provide us with more coverage for less money, and he’s been there for us every step of the way.”

Next, “we looked around at our previous office, which was spacious and beautiful, but we simply didn’t need the amount of space that we had -- the cost of rent and utilities does not translate into member value. And that is what we, at the chamber, strive for,” Lotano said.
So on March 26, the Chamber moved, from 1415 Hooper Ave., near Indian Hill Road, to 1027 Hooper Ave., just south of Ocean County Mall.

The Chamber of Commerce had “closed lighty” on the day of the move, but remained accessible by phone and email. “In fact,” Lotano said, “our office manager, Vonnie Tursi, was working on the floor of the new office that day before the furniture from our old office was actually moved over to the new office.”
BD Movers, a chamber member, handled the move, she said. The Chamber of Commerce’s complete new address is 1027 Hooper Ave., Building 1, 2nd Floor, Suite 5. For more information, visit their website here.
