Valina Day Spa Collecting Prom Dresses

in Marlboro is currently collecting prom dresses for Cinderella's Closet.

Cinderella's Closet is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping girls with prom expenses that could otherwise not be able to afford to go.

On March 8, Valina held a , collecting 50 dresses to donate to the cause.

“It’s important to get involved, to look outside your own backyard and help as many in the community as possible. Why not start with this? Being in the beauty industry, it’s almost natural for us to want to help young women know that being beautiful should be attainable to everyone, no girl should be left out on prom night because of their financial difficulties,” said Stephanie Pontes, Event Coordinator.

Donations can be dropped off at Valina, on Route 9 South in the Diamond Hill Plaza, until June 1.
