• Bergen woman arrested over Route 80 hit-and-run crash that injured cop (northjersey.com) — A 20-year-old Maywood resident has been arrested after police say her car struck a Saddle Brook officer during a Route 80 traffic stop and then left the scene. Investigators later traced the damaged 2024 white Accord to a residence in Maywood, and the officer remains hospitalized with serious injuries as the state police investigation continues.
