45-Day Suspension For Teen Who Threatened Shooting at Mendham High School

Boy will be re-evaluated after suspension, report says.

The Mendham High School student who scrawled a threat of a shooting on a bathroom wall and was later arrested won’t be allowed back in school for at least 45 days.

School officials were not receptive to having the 15-year-old male student, whose name is being withheld because of his age, return to the campus immediately, according to nj.com.

The boys’ parents met with school officials Monday, who said they wanted the teen to serve at least a 45-day suspension while being homeschooled, then re-evaluated, the report said.
