Brookside Parade Returns To Mendham For The 99th Year

In celebration of the parade's 99th year, the theme for the July 4th parade will be "Brookside—The Heart of New Jersey."

MENDHAM, NJ — The Brookside 4th of July Parade, also known as "the grandest little hometown parade in America," is a Mendham tradition that returns this year.

Each year, the Brookside Parade Committee selects a theme to commemorate, and this year, in honor of its 99th anniversary, the parade will feature "Brookside - The Heart of New Jersey." On July 4, at 9 a.m., the parade route will begin at Tingley Road and end at the Community Club.

"The Brookside 4th of July Parade is a tried-and-true tradition in Mendham and with the help of our volunteers and with the support of the community, the Committee has been able to put on the oldest and grandest little parade in America year after year," said township officials.
