Christie, Booker Join to Honor Mendham Twp. School's Blue Ribbon Achievement
Celebration will include celebrity from 'Cake Boss' Wednesday morning.

If there’s one thing that can bring politicians from opposite sides of the aisle together, it’s education success.
That’s why New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and United States Senator (and former Newark mayor) Cory Booker will join forces to honor and celebrate Mendham Township Middle School Wednesday morning.
The school was named a National Blue Ribbon of Excellence designee in 2014, marking the first time in Morris County history a middle school received the recognition since the award was created in 1982. It’s also just the 21st middle school in New Jersey to receive the award.

The event will run from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. and include speeches from Mendham Township Schools superintendent Dr. Sal Constantino, Mendham Township Middle School Principal Dr. PJ Ciccone, Christie, and Booker. A question and answer session for the two politicians will also take place.
