ShopRite, Kings Take Part in Helping the Hungry

Supermarkets will be donation locations for Action Against Hunger Food Drive.

Two separate supermarkets in the area will come together Sunday, Oct. 6 for a common good as part of a larger initiative to help those in need.

ShopRite in Chester and Kings Supermarket in Mendham will both take part in the 22nd Annual Action Against Hunger Food Drive from noon to 4 p.m.

The food drive, put together by North Jersey Media Group, serves 65 pantries assisting some 40,000 clients. Locally the effort benefits the Interfaith Food Pantry of Morris County.
