Witczak, an 18 year veteran of the borough council, has served multiple terms as council president along with serving on all of the council committees at one time or another. These committees include finance, public safety, recreation as well as land use. Among many of his responsibilities he served as chairman of the borough's centennial celebration, he worked hard to maintain the "sheep farm" on east main street under farm preservation and has served on our Borough CERT team and as a deputy OEM coordinator. He has worked hard to keep the tax rate under control while maintaining the borough's services.

Above all he believes in preserving the character of Mendham Borough as it was illustrated in New Jersey Monthly in 2013 when Mendham was selected as the best town to reside in New Jersey.
