Police said 46-year-old Mikalai Monak of Jamesburg and 58-year-old Michael Doney of Sayreville were killed after they were thrown from their bikes on Route 524 in Monmouth County, according to News12.

The crash was reported just before 2 p.m. at Route 524 and Sharon Station Road in Upper Freehold, according to nj.com.

At least two motorcycles were involved in a crash that killed riders, according to the News12 report.

Their identities have not been released and further details weren't immediately available.

The State Police's Fatal Accident Investigation and Crime Scene units responded to the crash site, and that part of the roadway was closed for the investigation, according to nj.com.

A 38-year-old New Jersey man also died this week in Upper Freehold after he was hurt in a head-on collision on a New Jersey highway, police said.
