3 Juveniles Accused Of Fatal Shooting Of Keansburg Man

KEANSBURG, NJ — Three juveniles have been charged in connection with the July shooting death of a Keansburg man, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced Thursday.

Two of the juveniles, whose names are being withheld due to their age, are currently being held at a juvenile detention center. One juvenile is charged with murder, attempted murder, two counts of illegal weapons possession and possession of a community gun. The second was charged with illegal gun possession. Both those teens are being held in a juvenile detention facility.

The third juvenile was served with a juvenile complaint for hindering the arrest of another, and was released to a guardian, pending future family court proceedings.

This was the fatal shooting of Paco M. Moore, 28, on July 20. He was shot in the neck in a Keansburg park while he was in the park playing Pokemon Go with his fiance and their toddler daughter, the Asbury Park Press reported.

At approximately 8:56 p.m., members of the Keansburg Police Department responded to a 911 call for a shooting the 40 block of Carr Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Moore, suffering from a gunshot wound.

He died at a nearby hospital.
