Affinity Federal Credit Union Celebrates Take Your Child to Work Day by Giving Back to Soldiers Through Operation Shoebox NJ

On Thursday, April 28, the children of Affinity employees' celebrated Take Your Child to Work Day by creating care packages for deployed soldiers with Operation Shoebox NJ. As part of the event, the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation presented Operation Shoebox NJ with a check for $500, to help cover the cost of shipping the care packages overseas. Pictured with the TYCTWD participants are Rod Hirsch, CEO of Operation Shoebox NJ, who created Operation Shoebox NJ as his Eagle Scout project in the 1960s, along with Grant Gallagher, Foundation Specialist at Affinity Federal Credit Union.
