UPDATE: Autopsy Performed On Body Of Dead Man Discovered On Sailboat At Sandy Hook
A State Police officer was quoted as saying the death was not "overtly suspicious."

The body of a dead man was found on a sailboat that ran aground Thursday at a beach on Sandy Hook, police said.
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday, but those results have not been made public yet.
State police Sgt. Jeff Flynn said employees at Sandy Hook noticed the sailboat drifting off-shore before 5 p.m. Thursday, and then run aground, according to The Asbury Park Press.

A lone man was found on the boat, and he was unresponsive. The cause of the man’s death is not known, according to The Asbury Park Press.

Witnesses reported seeing a sailboat moving “erratically” off Sandy Hook before running aground on the beach. Park Police tried to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, NJ.com reported.
