Monmouth Regional Chamber Caring With Karaoke Event Raises $5,508 for the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide

The Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce “Caring With Karaoke” event was a success, raising $5508.00 for the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide. On May, 18th at the All Seasons Diner in Eatontown, the MRCC presented a check to the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide with funds raised during a Karaoke event at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
MRCC President Bernice Lopez said, “We are pleased to support an organization whose mission is to reduce the number of youth suicides and attempted suicides by encouraging public awareness through the development and promotion of educational training programs.”
The event is planned by the Young Professionals Group, a committee within the MRCC. David Salkin, Executive Director of the MRCC, said, “Each year, a new charity is selected by the committee as part of the MRCC’s commitment to building a stronger Monmouth County.”
