Future Olympic Athletes Competing in Local Youth Rock Climbing Competition

With the addition of rock climbing to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, aspiring young athletes are taking every chance they can to get closer to securing a spot as an Olympic climber. On Saturday, November 19th, the Gravity Vault in Middletown, NJ will be hosting a local youth bouldering competition! Climbers from the region, ages 7-18, will be climbing 16ft walls with no climbing aids other than climbing shoes and chalk. The climbing routes vary in difficulty - the climber able to complete the most difficult routes without falling will win.

Immediately following the youth competition, the Gravity Vault will host a bouldering competition for the general public featuring prizes ranging from free climbing shoes to general climbing equipment and swag.
