March 2, 2020 Middletown Township Committee Meeting

During this very brief meeting the Township Committee managed to pass an ordinance to sell a Township property to a developer that owned an adjoining parcel of land, and set new requirements for placing leaves, brush and tree cuttings at the curb for collection.
A new ordinance was introduced that will allow the Township to conduct business while there is no budget in place.
Various resolutions were adopted as a consent agenda, meaning they were all approved with one vote. These resolutions consisted of a few maintenance bonds being returned, to purchase vehicles, adopt a new service agreement with Shadow Lake Village, to cancel taxes on various properties and transfer a cash bond posted by American Properties to the General Fund.
