Middletown Explosions Heard Sunday Night Were Fireworks
What many heard was sanctioned fireworks set off from Beacon Hill Country Club.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The explosions many reported hearing in Middletown Sunday evening were sanctioned fireworks set off from Beacon Hill Country Club in Atlantic Highlands, said Middletown Deputy Police Chief Paul Bailey.
Middletown residents reported hearing the booms around 7 p.m. Sunday.
