MIDDLETOWN, NJ — At 7 p.m. September 27 all are welcome to a Middletown Historical Society lecture: "Geraldine Thompson, First Lady of New Jersey."

Presented by Professor Jane Scimeca at the Middletown Library.

Geraldine L. Thompson has been called "New Jersey's First Lady," however, outside Monmouth County, her name has been largely forgotten. In researching the first biography of Mrs. Thompson, Brookdale Professor Jane Scimeca unearths her story. Join the Middletown Township Historical Society for a revealing presentation of this fascinating and historically significant figure who was so important to Middletown and beyond.
