"I really did not think this would actually go viral," Delia told Kimmel. "I woke up one day, the next day after we lost ... Me and my teammates couldn't believe it. We just thought of it and went through with it."
Delia, a seventh grader, also told Kimmel he has many other nicknames.

"My Grandpa was Big Al, my Dad was Little Al, but now I'm Big Al," he explained, who said he's also called "Cookie," "Bubba," "Boomer" and "Fredo Sauce."
Delia said he got the nickname Cookie after he put a cookie on a plastic plate in the microwave one day before baseball practice and "you know how that turns out."
He also declined being adopted by Kimmel and said he loves his parents. He also gave advice on how to hit dingers:
"Keep your front shoulder in, try your best and just keep your eye on the ball."
As Patch reported, Middletown's 12u Little League team came incredibly close to competing in the Little League World Series this August, but lost in one of the final elimination rounds last week. But the boys clearly still have their spirits up!
