Middletown, NJ - As released by the Middletown Police, he following contains information pertaining to arrests and police activities for the Middletown Twp. Police Department during the time period of September 12, 2016 to September 25, 2016.

During the period of September 12 through September 25, the Middletown Police Twp. Department responded to responded to 1,223 calls for service, including 167 first aid calls, 56 motor vehicle crashes, and 120 burglary and fire alarms.

Police officers arrested 67 individuals including 20 individuals for outstanding bench warrants and 10 for domestic violence offenses. Arrests include:

Andrew B. Ostenson, 25, of Puyallup, Washington, was arrested by Cpl. Mark Ward for Possession of Marijuana in an amount of 50 grams or less and Possession of Drug paraphernalia. Ostenson was processed and released on summons complaints.

Thomas J. Close, 42, of Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Rich Fulham and Ptl. Adam Colfer for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle. Close was processed and released on summons complaints.

Stephen Cefalo, 46, of Middletown, was arrested by Det. Keith Hirschbein and Dfc. Daniel Sullivan for Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cefalo was processed and released on summons complaints.

Elizabeth M. Milford, 53, of Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Ekne Montalvo for Driving While Intoxicated. Milford was processed and released.

Thomas E. Smith, 43, of Port Monmouth, was arrested by Ptl. Adam Colfer for Possession of Suboxone, Possession of Xanax, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Smith was processed and released on summons complaints.

John Menture, 42, of Keansburg, was arrested by Ptl. Adam Colfer for Possession of Xanax, Possession with the intent to distribute Xanax, Possession of more than 5 doses of a prescription legend drug, Possession with the intent to distribute within 500ft of a park, and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $65,000.00 with a 10% option.

Rayon C Woods, 25, of Neptune, was arrested by Ptl. Julian Reis and Ptl. Brian Macdonald for Eluding, Obstruction, Possession of Marijuana in an amount of 50 grams or less, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Contempt of Court. Woods was released after posting bail.

Jim Salamanca, 33, of Carteret, was arrested by Ptl. Nicholas Zubkow for Contempt of Court. Salamanca was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $1,500.00 bail.

George N. Mercado, 40, of Union City, was arrested by Ptl. Jason Andrews, for DWI, Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, and Contempt of Court. Mercado was processed and released on summons complaints after posting bail.

Frank McQuade, 24, of Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Greg Buhowski, for Distribution of Marijuana in an amount of 50 grams or less, Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances within 1000 feet of school property, Distribution of CDS within 500 feet of a park, Possession of Marijuana in an amount of 50 grams or less, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. McQuade was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of bail which was set at $35,000 with a 10% option

Ryan J. Hoban, 26, of Keyport, was arrested by Ptl. Greg Buhowski, for Possession of marijuana in an amount of 50 grams or less, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hoban was processed and released on summons complaints.

Maureen E. Lewis, 27, of Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Savvas Roumeliotis for DWI and Reckless Driving. Lewis was released on summons complaints.

Michael K. Moore, 21, of Port Monmouth, was arrested Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. Moore was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Anthony M. McDonnell, 26, of South River, was arrested by Ptl. Ryan Maguire on an outstanding Monmouth County Superior Court Warrant. McDonnell was processed and lodged in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Christopher M. Rosado, 28, of Freehold, was arrested by Ptl. Michael Heaton and Dfc. Darrin Simon, for Burglary and Criminal Mischief. Rosado was processed and released on summons complaints.

Nicole J. Kost, 33, of Leonardo, was arrested by Ptl. Ekne Montalvo for Possession of heroin, Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs, and Contempt of Court. Kost was processed, issued summons complaints, and turned over to Freehold Boro Police for the Contempt of Court warrant.

Jacob J. Nikitas, 23, of Union Beach, was arrested by Ptl. Michael Heaton, on three outstanding Contempt of Court charges with a total bail set at $1000.00. Nikitas was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Lawrence J. Casazza, 48, of Monroe Twp., was arrested by Det. First Class Albert Scott for burglary and theft. Casazza was processed and released after posting $100,000.00 bail which had been set by Presiding Judge Kathleen Sheedy of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Christie L. Johnson, 32, of Keansburg, was arrested by Ptl. Sean Barry for Shoplifting and Contempt of Court. Johnson was processed and released after posting $1,250.00 bail.

Dario J. Decosta-Almeida, 39, of Long Branch, was arrested by Ptl. Nicholas Haines for DWI and Driving with a Minor in the Vehicle while Intoxicated. Decosta-Almeida was processed and released on summons complaints.

Dylan C. Messiah, 18, of Matawan, was arrested by Ptl. Ryan Pigott for Possession of Marijuana in an amount of 50 grams or less and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Messiah was processed and released on summons complaints.

James E. Lamar, 30, of Port Monmouth, was arrested by Ptl. Kent Thornton for Contempt of Court and Criminal Trespass. Lamar was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail which had been set at $5,000.00 with no 10% option.

Marcus E. Lee, 46, of Colonia, was arrested by Ptl. Adam Colfer and Ptl. Rich Fulham for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute, Obstruction, Tampering with Evidence, Resisting Arrest, Conspiracy and Possess of Drug paraphernalia. Lee was processed and lodged in the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $180,000.00 bail with no 10% option.

James D. Baker, 52, of Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Adam Colfer and Ptl. Rich Fulham for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Baker was processed and lodged in the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $105,000.00 bail with no 10 % option.

Kimberly Zullo, 28, of Perth Amboy, was arrested by Ptl. Rich Fulham and Ptl. Adam Colfer for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy, Possession of a weapon, Possession of a Weapon while Committing a Narcotics Offense, Tampering with Evidence, Resisting Arrest, and Possess of Drug Paraphernalia. Zullo was processed and lodge in the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $230,000.00 bail with no 10% option.

Susan J. Heather, 43, of Port Monmouth, was arrested by Ptl. Rich Fulham and Ptl. Adam Colfer for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possess of Drug Paraphernalia. Heather was processed, issued summons complaints, and turned over to the custody of Holmdel Police due to an outstanding warrant from that jurisdiction.

Kirsten M. Laneve, 37, of Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. Patrick Leonard for Child Neglect. Laneve was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Michael M. Thomas, 26, of Belford, was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Foster for Possession of Marijuana in an amount of 50 grams or less. He was processed and released on a summons complaint.

Michelle M. Kerrigan, 19, of Middletown, was arrested by Ptl. John Walsifer for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Kerrigan was processed and released on summons complaints.

Kenneth C. Sandiego, 39, of Avenel, was arrested by Ptl. Stephanie Geisel for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drugs in a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sandiego was processed and released on summons complaints.

Patrick Gasmen, 38, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Foster for DWI. Gasmen was processed and released on summons complaints.

Orlando A. Dawkins, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested by Ptl. Nicholas Manochio for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug paraphernalia. Dawkins was processed and released on summons complaints.

Jivenchy P. Georges, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested by Ptl. Nicholas Manochio for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug paraphernalia. Georges was processed and released on summons complaints.

Susan K. Doyle, 26, of Middletown, was arrested by Sgt. Charles Higgins for DWI. Doyle was processed and released on summons complaints.

Marquise L. Frasier, 25, of Rahway, was arrested by Cpl. Bernie Chenoweth for three outstanding Contempt of Court warrants which had a total bail of $2619.00. Frasier was processed and released after posting bail.
