Middletown Starts Delivering New Trash/Recycling Carts This Week

As Middletown preps for the trash pick-up changes, new carts are delivered to homes now through Dec. 22. They start in the Bayshore Monday.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Starting today, Monday, Nov. 27, Middletown Township will be dropping off the new garbage and recycling carts (one of each), as part of their new garbage/recycling pick-up changes. Related: Middletown Makes Big Change To Garbage Pickups

Middletown's new Garbage & Recycling Program starts in January 2018 and will affect all Middletown residents. The new garbage and recycling carts (one of each) will be delivered to your home over the next few weeks. We will be starting with the Bayshore area on Monday, November 27 and deliveries will continue through Friday, December 22. The Township will be sending phone and email notifications as your delivery date approaches.

Your carts will be delivered curbside, and you do not need to be home to receive them. Please note there will be an informational flyer inside your new cart regarding curbside garbage, recycling, and bulk collections. Please do not use your new carts until the Township-wide program begins on January 2nd.
The Township will be split into two zones (North & South) with the new program:
