Middletown Target Evacuated Over Fake Bomb Threat
The bomb threat was fake, police said, but the store nonetheless was evacuated at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Middletown, NJ - The Middletown Target store on Rt. 35 was briefly evacuated Saturday evening after someone called in a bogus bomb threat there, police said.
“It was a fake bomb threat. The store made the decision to evacuate briefly when the store was checked,” said Deputy Chief Steve Dollinger of the Middletown Police. “The threat was false.”
The Target store was evacuated just before 7 p.m. Saturday. This is not the first fake bomb threat called in to the store.
