Middletown's New Garbage/Recycling System Begins Today
The Township's new garbage and recycling changes are upon us. Here's everything you need to know:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Township's new garbage and recycling changes are upon us, and begin today.
Middletown's Township-Wide Garbage & Recycling Program will begin on Tuesday, January 2. (There will be no garbage pickup in the North Zone on Monday, January 1 due to the holiday.) Middletown Mayor Gerry Scharfenberger previously mused to Patch that some residents may be experiencing retaliation from the old garbage companies over their displeasure at the Township's changes.
