The Mountain Hill School Expands to meet Demand

The winding private drive along fenced paddocks is the first introduction one gets to this private school. It is reminiscent of an English countryside school setting and reminds Terry Hegarty, the school’s business manager, of her days growing up in England. The Mountain Hill School is one of the oldest Private Pre-schools and Full Day Kindergartens in our area. They have been teaching and caring for children on a bucolic farm setting for over 65 years. The current owners, Andy and Lauren Kaiser have invested heavily during the past decade in the infrastructure of the property adding a learning activity barn, hiking trails and a state of the art playground at the school. They attribute a great deal of the school’s success to the hard work and dedication of their teaching team. The school’s great reputation of nurturing and preparing children keeps the business busy and in need of new classroom space.

“We have strong parent interest in new programs” said Lauren Kaiser who also serves as a co-director at the school. The new 2,500 square foot building will provide two new classrooms, a working kitchen, a business office and a teacher’s lunch room. We will be adding an additional 5 day - 3 year old program and a new full day Pre-Kindergarten program. The building will be state of the art, ergonomically efficient and secure. The building will welcome new students this September.
