• October Adult Programs At The Middletown Library (patch.com) — Middletown residents can look forward to a full slate of October adult programs at the township library, from Civil War history and music workshops to craft sessions and book discussions. Several high-profile virtual author talks and Fall Fest activities, including a community quilt project and live music, offer a mix of cultural, educational, and creative experiences close to home. 
• Senior midfielder nearly doubles career goal total, leads field hockey team to road win (nj.com subscription) — Middletown South senior midfielder Molly Kenney powered the Eagles' field hockey team with five goals and an assist in a 6-0 road win over Toms River North, marking a breakout performance. The victory was Middletown South's third straight, and the team now returns home to host Holmdel on Saturday, giving local fans a chance to see the streak continue.
