• Teen Injured In Huber Woods Park; Family Sues Monmouth County (patch.com) — A Middletown-area family is pursuing an unresolved lawsuit over serious injuries their 15-year-old son suffered in 2022 while playing on forklift equipment left in Huber Woods Park in the Locust section of town. Middletown Township and its departments have been dismissed from the case, but Monmouth County and other agencies remain defendants as a judge weighs whether to add the teen's friend as partially responsible at an August 28 court hearing.
