Pedestrian Hit On Rt. 36 In Middletown

A female pedestrian was hit by a car Monday at the corner of Rt. 36 and Wilson Ave. in Port Monmouth, Middletown EMS confirmed.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A female pedestrian was hit by a car this week at the corner of Rt. 36 and Wilson Ave in Port Monmouth, Middletown Township EMS confirmed to Patch.

The accident happened Monday, December 18. EMS was dispatched to the intersection at 3:17 p.m. Monday. The woman was not critically injured, but did suffer a some type of ankle injury.

She was transported to Riverview Medical Center by ambulance. Middletown Police did not get back to Patch yet when asked about the circumstances of how she was hit, or if any charges were filed against the driver.
