Pro-Trump Rally Planned For Middletown This Sunday
A rally in support of President Donald Trump is planned for this Sunday in Middletown, held again at the Middletown ShopRite plaza.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A rally in support of President Donald Trump is planned for this Sunday in Middletown, held again at the Middletown ShopRite plaza at Harmony Road and Kings Highway.
The pro-Trump rally is organized by Middletown resident Frank Cott, who has organized previous Trump rallies at that shopping plaza (see photos above), along with co-organizer Michael Porowitz.
Cott held pro-Trump rallies at the Middletown ShopRite in 2017 and 2018; Patch covered the 2017 rally, which an estimated 200 attended at the time.

Sunday's rally will go from 3-6 p.m. and is held in honor of Flag Day (June 14), which also happens to be Trump's birthday.
The same group will hold a Trump rally also Sunday at Point Pleasant Beach (on the beach) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cott is a member of a group called Monmouth County True Patriots Americans Push Back and he says the purpose of Sunday's rally is:
"To support President Trump and expose progressive tactics that create violence across America. The progressive strategy is to win elections regardless the harm and divisions to our nation.
Supporters of President Trump will meet at two locations this Sunday, June 14 to expose fake news stories and stop them from undermining our Constitutional processes and propagandizing the public."
