“Side by Side” with artists Richard Buntzen & Marge Levine

On Saturday, June 7, the Second Story Art Gallery presented “Side by Side” with artists Richard Buntzen & Marge Levine, with an opening reception from 6-8pm at 78 First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands. 

Second Story Art Gallery is proud to be showcasing the work of two artists who find inspiration in the process of each other’s work.  Richard Buntzen, who works primarily with collage, has studied with and worked alongside Marge Levine, a noted and celebrated New Jersey plein-air pastel artist.  At first glance, the work of these two artists seems to come from vastly different origins, yet at closer inspection we find relationships and conversations that point to their shared vision of color and form – a vision that transcends their differences.

Exhibition runs from June 6 – July 5.
