Talk: Middletown's Militia Officers In The American Revolution
A talk from Middletown Historical Society about the role Middletown militiamen played in the American Revolutionary War. March 15 at 7 p.m.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — On Monday, March 15 author and historian Michael Adelberg will present a virtual history talk: "Middletown's Militia Officers During the American Revolution."
The talk is presented by the Middletown Township Historical Society and is about Middletown's Revolutionary War patriot leaders and their struggles for independence, as well as the toll the war took on them and their community.
It begins at 7 pm. The event is free to attend, but requires registration at https://www.MiddletownNJHistory.org. After you complete the brief registration form, you will receive an email that includes a link to the virtual event.

A brief annual meeting of the Middletown Historical Society will precede the speaker presentation.
Adelberg is author of the award-winning "The American Revolution in Monmouth County" and three other books. His essays on the American Revolution have appeared in The Journal of Military of History, The Journal of the Early Republic, The Wilson Quarterly,and other scholarly journals. Adelberg’s research has been recognized by the New Jersey Historical Commission, the New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance, the David Library of the American Revolution, the public television program NJ Today and the government of Monmouth County.
