There May Be Hope For Mater Dei - School Has Two Months To Raise $1 Million
There may be hope for Middletown's Mater Dei Prep after all.

There may be hope for Middletown’s Mater Dei Prep after all.
It didn’t take Mater Dei students, parents, facility, and alumni very long to take action and make moves which could possibly save the school from permanently closing it’s doors in June of 2015.
The school has now announced a two month extension period to raise $1 million toward reversing the decision to close.

Father Jeff Kegley, pastor of St. Mary Parish, cited a multi-year financial deficit as the reason behind the school’s announcement that they would be closing at the end of the current school year.
Meeting, rallies, and dress-down days are just a few of the ways the school’s community has worked toward saving the Catholic preparatory school, which has educated students Monmouth County for over 50 years, just this week alone, according to nj.com.
