HIGHLANDS, NJ — One of the largest bike rides in New Jersey will start and end at Twin Lights in Highlands this Sunday. And there's still time to sign up for anyone looking to pedal through some of the prettiest areas of the Garden State.

The bike ride is called the Twin Lights Ride, named after the famed Navesink Twin Lights. The ride officially begins and ends at Huddy Park in Highland and riders have the choice of five routes, ranging from 15 to 100 miles (!).

Please do not think this is only a bike ride for experienced cyclists: They offer a 15-mile loop through Sandy Hook that it is ideal for families and newcomers (now full). There are also longer routes, including 30 miles through Oceanport/Middletown and a 55-mile ride around U.S. Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck.
