Union Beach Man Charged In Armed Robbery
Police say Edward O'Neal, 30, of Union Beach pointed the gun at the victim's head and threatened to shoot him on Monday.
ASBURY PARK, NJ - A Union Beach man was arrested Monday in Asbury Park, where police say he robbed someone at gunpoint. Police say Edward O'Neal, 30, of Union Beach pointed the gun at the victim's head and threatened to shoot him on Monday, in the course of robbing him. He then robbed him of his cell phone and between $50 and $70, police said.
O'Neal had the 9mm Sig Sauer without a permit, police said. And he was listed as certain persons not to have weapons.
