Volunteers Needed For Sandy Hook Clean-Up Sept. 8
Everything from bottles and cans, to discarded plastic items and large pieces of industrial wood will be removed throughout the day.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — As the busy summer beach season comes to a close, Party City Inc. and Wounded Nature, a non-profit that focuses on removing debris from hard-to-reach coastal areas, are teaming up to clean the Sandy Hook beach/coastline in Gateway National Park.
Volunteers are encouraged to come down to assist with the clean-up efforts. The goal of the event is to address critical coastal areas that are often neglected or overlooked. Everything from bottles and cans, to discarded plastic items and large pieces of industrial wood that have a negative impact on both the ocean and the beach will be removed throughout the day.
Prizes will be awarded for the most unique items found during the clean-up.
