A video showing Brookdale Community College police officers wrestling with a nursing student has raised a question: Was it police brutality?
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office has begun an investigation now that the video (below) has emerged showing the man being restrained and pepper-sprayed during his arrest Friday, officials said.
The student who was being apprehended was Jeffrey Michel of Colts Neck, and his friends have taken to social media, saying it was police brutality. The YouTube video shows the Lincroft-based school’s officers arresting the Colts Neck resident, according to The Asbury Park Press. Michel repeatedly pleads to know why he’s being arrested.
