LIVING HISTORY PROJECT

In the past few months, our ways of interacting have dramatically changed as we function in a time never experienced in our lifetimes. One of the many ways the Middletown Township Public Library serves its community is to collect and preserve for future generations our experiences in times like these.

We invite all ages to submit any creative endeavors you may have undertaken to ease your stress during the pandemic: a story, poem, or song, a work of art, photographs or a video.

These creative works will be a time capsule of Middletown Township in 2020.

For submission link, check the Library website at mtpl.org.

AARP Tax-Aide: With the March statewide shutdown, all AARP Tax-Aide appointments were cancelled and the program was discontinued.

The AARP website offers two free online programs that can be used for patrons to file their own taxes. Check the Library website at mtpl.org for the AARP link.

HEALTH PANELS

To ensure the health and well-being of all staff and patrons, the Library was installed acrylic panels at the Circulation, Reference and Youth Services counters. When the Library is able to reopen to the public, self-checkout of items will no longer allowed. Instead a staffer will process the materials.
