Living History Project: In the past few months, our ways of interacting has dramatically changed as we function in a time never experienced in our lifetimes. One of the many ways the Middletown Township Public Library serves its community is to collect and preserve for future generations our experiences in times like these.
We invite all ages to submit any creative endeavors you may have undertaken to ease your stress during the pandemic: a story, poem or song, a work of art, photographs or a video.

These creative works will be a time capsule of Middletown Township in 2020 and be preserved in our Local History Archive. They will also at some point be available for viewing on the Library home page.

Media reported that some people are attempting to sanitize books in a microwave. This is dangerous and may cause a fire. Library books have metal in the security radio frequency identification (RFID) tags located inside the book. When metal is used in a microwave, it could burn or catch the book on fire. The Middletown Township Public Library follows U.S. Centers for Disease Control guidelines and quarantines all returned media for 72 hours before being processed and returned to the shelves.
