Food for Fines: Pay off library fines with food bank donations. Each non-perishable donation eliminates $1.00 of late fees up to $10.00 per card. Food donations cannot be used to pay for lost items. Through November 19th.

Lewis & Clark: With audience assistance, the expedition will be re-enacted with a highlighted U.S. map as a backdrop. Teen Centennial Bingo: complete a bingo board to enter the centennial raffle! Through December 31st.

Girls Who Code (and boys too!). A 5-session in-person program beginning November 2nd for teens and tweens. Details on the Library’s website. Register online @ mtpl.org.

Teen Virtual Halloween Costume Contest: Post a picture of your Halloween costume this year, #MTPLTeens or email teen Librarian Marissa, mchimento@mtpl.org. Bonus points for dressing as your favorite book character or in the 1920s style in honor of MTPL’s 100th anniversary. Each photo will enter into our centennial raffle. Registration required for all participants. Beginning Friday, October 1st through October 31st.

First Friday Book Group discusses The Red Lotus by Chris Bohjalian on Friday, November 5th @ 9:00 am.
