The Magic of Grids: Learn to use grids to reproduce and draw your favorite images. Grids can be used to enlarge and reduce this images as well. Perfect if you are new to drawing or wish to brush up on your current techniques. A 4-week workshop conducted by retired art teacher Theresa Lau. Grades 6+. Wednesday, February 26th @ 4:00 pm.

Lapsit Storytime: A gentle introduction to the library for infants, parents, and caregivers. A half hour of circle time, led by a staff member, includes songs, rhymes, puppets, and baby books. A social time afterwards gives parents/caregivers time connect with one another and helps babies with socialization. For prewalkers. A Drop-In program. Thursday, February 27th @ 10:00 am.

Reading Buddies: Self-readers will read to teen buddies to improve their reading skills. For grades K-5. Thursday, January 30th beginning @ 3:30 pm. Register for the specific time slot.

Toddler Time: Movement and stories for toddlers and their families. Toddlers learn best when both body and mind are engaged, so there is a lot of moving around during our toddler time. Librarian-led activities will follow a short social time on the floor with books and toys. Siblings welcome. For walkers up to 2.5 years old. Thursday, February 27th @ 10:00 am.
