Welcome Spring! Springtime stories and an outside activity (weather permitting). Bring a blanket or towel to sit on. Friends of the Middletown Township Public Library will have a Book Sale on May 21st and 22nd. Donations are now being accepted.

The Library is looking into a technology service that will include lockers such as those are big box stores, but tailored for Library materials and resources. Please complete the survey found on the Library’s website by May 20th.

The Middletown Township Public Library will begins its 100th Anniversary celebration in June. In addition to opening the 1971 time capsule, a new time capsule will be buried to be opened in 50 years. Place your suggestions for what should be included in the new time capsule in the container at the Circulation Desk by May 21st. Keep in mind the capsule is small.

Mystery Book Club will meet on the Outdoor Patio. Social distancing and masks are required. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be in the Community Room. Register online @ mtpl.org to reserve seating. Wednesday, May 12th @ 10:00 am.

Film Discussion Group discusses Fargo, a 1996 black comedy crime film written, produced and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. Frances McDormand stars as Marge Gunderson, a pregnant Minnesota police chief investigating roadside homicides that ensue after a desperate car salesman hires two criminals to kidnap his wife in order to extort a hefty ransom from his wealthy father-in-law. Adult DIY Spring Felt Succulent Hanger: All week while supplies last.

Teen Art Club-Op Art: Follow along with art teacher Teresa Lau to create your own piece of art. Video instructions will be posted on the Library’s YouTube channel. Use your own materials or pick up a kit of materials at the Library prior to the event. Supplies are limited; registration required for kit. Thursday, May 13th, all day.

Free virtual 60 minute tutoring session on Monday afternoons with high school honor students. Have your homework and/or textbook available. For grades K-12. Register online @ mtpl.org.

The Teen Zone is now open. Only two teens at a time are allowed in the Teen Zone unless with their families. The computers in the Teen Zone are still not available.
