What's Happening @ Middletown Township Public Library 9/27-10/3

SLP Musically with Katherine, a ZOOM sing-along from home. A fun accessible music experience for children of all abilities (AAC users welcome). Listen and sign with music. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Saturday of each month @ 1:30 pm and the last Sunday of each month 11:0 am. Check the MTPL website for Zoom link information. For ages 4-9.

Learn How to use HelpNow. Learn about MTPL databases, this month highlighting HelpNow by Brainfuse. Live tutors can critique writing assignments and other homework help via ZOOM. Registrants will receive ZOOM invitation 24 hours prior to class. Tuesday, September 29th @ 3:30 pm.

School-Age Storytime via ZOOM. Every Tuesday @ 4:00 pm. Register online by the 10:00 am of the previous Monday to receive Zoom invitation. For grades K+.

Tea Talk with Christine and Katherine with a special guest. Grab a cuppa tea, share a good book with fine company in this virtual tea talk. Register online @ mtpl.org. Wednesday September 30th @ 4:00 pm. For 8 grades to young adults.

Create a Fall Leaf Windchime. Decorate a fall leaf windchime using paint or marker to create a “stained” wood finish. The choice is yours so let creativity be your guide. Pick up an activity kit beginning September 24th while supplies last. Kit includes windchime, paint, marker and instructions. For grades 6+. Sunday, September 27th.

Circulation Desk staff must be informed of the donation; bags cannot be left anonymously. All donations, like borrowed media returns, are subject to several days of quarantining before being processed.
