The Rainbow Fish: drop-in crafts – The Library, in conjunction with Two River Theater, is proud to participate again this year in One Book, One Community, a program uniting the Monmouth County area in community discussion, literacy, education, and local arts events, all centered around one book, The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Stop by the Children’s Services Desk to enter to win a free family 4-pack of tickets to Two River Theater’s production of The Rainbow Fish.. For all ages. All day, Monday, November 13th through Sunday, November 19th.
Lapsit Storytime for Pre-Walkers - Introduce your infant to the library during this gentle lapsit program for pre-walkers accompanied by an adult. Rhymes, songs, puppets, and picture books encourage language development. Adults socialize with other adults and infants get used to be around other infants. For ages up to 32 months. Monday, November 13th @ 10:00 am.

Maker Monday: Chemistry ROCKS - Explore, predict, tinker and make. Develop confidence, creativity and interest in science, technology, engineering, math, arts, and learning as a whole. For ages 7-11. Monday, November 13th @ 4:00 pm.

Kids Playgroup – A Drop-In playgroup for all ages that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Tuesday, November 14th @ 10:30 am.

Read to a Dog and Reading Buddies for Younger Siblings - A great way to improve the literacy skills of children by reading to a non-judgmental listener in our furry friends. There will be teen reading buddies for younger siblings as well as for the K-5 set to practice prior to their “dog time”. For independent readers grades K-5. Tuesday, November 14th @ 7:00 pm. Repeated on Wednesday, November 15th @ 4:00 pm.

Rainbow Fish Simply Storytime –A special storytime for all ages. Wednesday, November 15th @ 10:00 am.
